‘Remain In Mexico’ No More Says SCOTUS

With regard to immigration law, the Supreme Court has ruled that current admin can end ‘Remain In Mexico’ policy.

The policy – formerly know as the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) said that asylum seekers had to remain in Mexico as they awaited their applications to be processed in United States.

In 2019, 70,000 asylum seekers were returned to Mexico from the U.S.
