Five business groups in New York have called on Governor Kathy Hochul to ban “assault” weapons as the fill in Governor is busy signing even stricter gun laws than already existed in New York.
Representatives of The Business Council of Westchester, Business Council of New York State, Buffalo Niagara Partnership, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce all want bans that focus on the AR-15, a rifle that the proponents of more stringent gun control have tabled a “weapon of war.’
