Kyra’s Law – named for a child killed in a murder-suicide by her father – is close to passing in New York State. The law would reform Divorce and Family Law.
It seeks to gain protection for children and families in danger of domestic abuse during custody cases. It would require domestic and child abuse training for judges and court officials.
