Brooklyn’s Chinatown could have it’s first ever Asian-American lawmaker and the first to ever represent Brooklyn’s Chinatown in Albany if Iwen Chu wins the newly created state senate district seat.
The new district is made up of parts of Sunset park, Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst, Windsor Terrace and Kensington.
